School Year 2025: The Year of Pathmakers

From classrooms to boardrooms, makerspaces to main streets, this past year has continued to demonstrate what is possible when an entire region commits to helping young people become pathmakers in their own futures. Between September 2024 and August 2025, BB2C supported thousands of students through real-world learning experiences, hands-on career exploration, and meaningful mentorship grounded in authentic community partnership. Educators gained tools and networks to bring relevance into their classrooms, business professionals continued to step forward to open doors and share their career paths, and community leaders worked alongside us to strengthen systems that connect education to local opportunity.

What continues to emerge is more than just programs or events; it is a vibrant ecosystem of support built for students and powered by collaboration. Whether through internships, Discover Days, Rural Teacher Fellowships, Makerspace creativity, career speakers, or regional social capital building, BB2C continues to bridge people, resources, and ideas in ways that foster agency, spark curiosity, and make career discovery more accessible for all.

Our School Year 2025 report celebrates the collective impact of our village, the educators who teach, the employers who mentor, the families who encourage, and the students who are boldly exploring who they can become. Together, we are strengthening pathways, uplifting possibilities, and shaping a future in which every student is equipped not just to navigate their career journey, but to design it.
