Become a Career Speaker
IGNITE A STUDENT’S CAREER PATHWAY
Career speakers are local professionals who visit K–12 classrooms in Washington County and beyond to share insights about their career pathway journey, the day-to-day work they do, and the skills needed in their field. By speaking with students, you help them explore career possibilities, understand real-world applications of their education, and gain inspiration for their future. These 20–30 minute classroom visits are a simple but powerful way to play a direct role in developing our region’s future workforce while also giving back to your community. Your story can make a lasting impact. BB2C helps connect Career Speakers with local educators and schedule classroom visits.
“Talking to the students reminded me why I love what I do—it was refreshing and inspiring.”
“This series helped me realize there are more options out there than I thought. ”
